What we're looking for

Each school is different, but our Independent Christian school partners generally look for teachers who are actively involved in a Christian church community and comfortable supporting the school's Christian ethos.

As part of the application process, you will usually be asked to provide a pastoral reference from your current church or faith community.

You will also need:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications
  • Current NESA accreditation, or eligibility to obtain it
  • Appropriate Australian working rights
  • A genuine interest in contributing to the wider life of a Christian school community

Christian schools can differ considerably in their culture, denomination and expectations around faith. We'll take the time to understand your background, what you're looking for and the type of school community you would feel comfortable joining before discussing suitable opportunities with you.

We work with schools across different areas of Sydney and have permanent, full-time and contract opportunities, from classroom teaching through to middle and senior leadership.
