Overview:
This is an exciting contract opportunity designed for a mid-level BI professional to bring their expertise in dashboarding and stakeholder management. As the first contractor on the BI team, you'll help fill a vital gap during a maternity leave coverage, providing high-impact support for product analytics and SaaS metrics. Your work will directly influence strategic initiatives, with a focus on visualization excellence and clear communication with US-based stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with Sigma Computing for dashboarding and visualization
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence handling ambiguity and independently capturing requirements from US stakeholders
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as Booking and ARR
- Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid setting (3 days/week onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
- Proven experience in a similar BI analyst role for 2–4 years, with an overall cap of around 10 years to ensure the right fit.
Nice to Have Skills:
- SQL proficiency, particularly in reading and debugging queries in Snowflake and dbt
- Basic understanding of data pipelines or familiarity with data debugging tools
- Exposure to data security concepts or advanced data modeling (not required)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–4 years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, or related roles
Other Requirements:
- This position is hybrid; onsite presence required three days a week, with flexibility for remote work on remaining days
- Anticipated start date: 09/28/2023, to ensure seamless knowledge transfer before the incumbent’s departure on 10/19/2023
- Duration: 4–6 months, with a Statement of Work to be provided
