ABOUT THE ROLE
Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua | MidCentral is expanding its Department of Anaesthesia and is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Anaesthetists to join its growing team in Palmerston North, located in the lower North Island of New Zealand.
The hospital’s theatre complex is currently expanding from seven to nine operating theatres, with additional access to a private hospital theatre. The department supports a wide range of surgical specialties—excluding cardiac and neurosurgery—offering anaesthetists the opportunity to work across a broad and interesting caseload. The team currently comprises 26 specialist anaesthetists, 8 registrars, and 6 senior house officers, operating across two separate on-call rosters for anaesthesia and intensive care.

- Hold an equivalent overseas specialist qualification, eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
