Apply directWe are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for processing and filling products using specialist pressure equipment while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively within a team to meet production targets and customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialist equipment to process and fill products to the required specifications
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or non-conformances
- Follow production schedules and work towards daily output targets
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality at all times
- Safely handle materials and products in accordance with company procedures
- Operate pre-treatment equipment where required
- Follow start-up, shut-down, and operational procedures accurately
- Ensure production deadlines and delivery targets are achieved
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding operational issues
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a production setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible approach to work, including overtime when required
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties safely
Experience working with pressure systems, industrial gases, chemicals, pumps, valves, regulators, or similar production equipment would be advantageous but is not essential.
