We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for programming CNC production equipment, with additional hands-on machining responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate 4-axis CNC mills and/or lathes
- Create and adjust CNC programs to ensure precise machining and final dimensions
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and machining tolerances
- Display and manipulate part images to optimize tool paths
- Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions
- Measure and inspect parts using precision tools to ensure accuracy
- Document measurement data and maintain production records
- Perform deburring and finishing of machined parts
- Maintain machines and ensure clean, safe work areas
- Log activities into data collection systems and maintain backup records
- Follow Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs)
- Train and mentor trainees/apprentices as assigned
- May assist in directing work or providing guidance to others
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication
- Experience with CNC programming, setup, and operation of mills and/or lathes (horizontal and/or vertical)
- Proficiency in CNC mill and/or lathe programming and operation
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Experience with machining processes, tooling, and equipment maintenance
- Working knowledge of applied mathematics (trigonometry preferred)
- Understanding of quality control standards and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to train and mentor others
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening

Shift: 1st (OT as needed)
Salary: $30-$40 per hour based on experience
