Account Manager | Outsourced Finance

As an extension of your clients' businesses, you'll become a trusted advisor, working closely with business owners to deliver financial insights, improve processes and ensure their finance operations run seamlessly.

The Opportunity As an Account Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of clients and work alongside a collaborative finance team to deliver high-quality outsourced accounting services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong relationships with clients and becoming their trusted finance contact
• Preparing and reviewing monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports
• Coordinating bookkeeping, payroll and finance administration activities
• Reviewing debtors, creditors and cash flow to support clients' financial performance
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting
• Managing payroll, BAS, IAS and compliance obligations
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies
• Working closely with internal team members to ensure outstanding client service

About You We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, outsourced accounting, management accounting or a similar finance role
• Strong knowledge of Xero and cloud-based accounting systems
• Experience preparing financial reports and managing month-end processes
• Payroll, BAS and compliance experience
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with business owners
• A proactive mindset with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
