Based in New Plymouth, they're looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join their busy workshop team. Whether you're a qualified technician or have strong heavy diesel experience, this is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of trucks, trailers and commercial vehicles while continuing to develop your skills with industry leading manufacturers.

The Role
Working alongside a highly experienced team, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a variety of trucks and trailers while helping keep Taranaki's transport industry moving.
Key responsibilities include
- Servicing and maintaining trucks and trailers
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Performing mechanical, electrical and diagnostic work
- Completing modifications and custom repairs where required
- Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service
About You
- Trade qualification in Heavy Automotive or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years' experience in a diesel, truck or heavy vehicle workshop
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards
Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
