As a Program Coordinator focusing on Early Talent and HR, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating onboarding, internship programs, and employee engagement efforts that drive organizational success. This is a unique opportunity to support a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless integration of new hires and valuable programs that nurture the next generation of talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate pre-onboarding and onboarding activities, ensuring new employees are well-prepared from offer acceptance through their initial days.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, IT, and hiring managers to coordinate onboarding logistics and track progress.
- Manage onboarding checklists, employee records, and HR system data with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Oversee onboarding swag, welcome kits, including inventory management, ordering, assembly, and shipping logistics.
- Coordinate new-hire orientation sessions, including scheduling, material preparation, tracking attendance, and conducting follow-up communication.
- Support administrative functions for internship, fellowship, co-op, and capstone student programs—handling schedules, communications, events, and resources.
- Assist with various employee engagement initiatives and other related programs to foster a vibrant workplace culture.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in human resources, recruiting, program or event coordination, or administrative support.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain confidentiality.
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning new systems and processes.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience supporting onboarding, HR functions, recruiting, or student programs.
- Familiarity with Workday human resources system.
- Graphic design or content creation skills.
- Experience with Articulate Rise or Canva for content development.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least two years of professional experience supporting HR or related programs.
Other Requirements:
- This position is onsite in Redwood City, CA.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
- No remote work; candidates should be prepared to support in-person activities and events.
