A well‑established residential roofing business is seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator & Scheduler to support project delivery through accurate estimating, efficient scheduling and tight cost control. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly, profitably and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Project estimating — Review drawings, complete quantity take‑offs and prepare accurate labour, material and equipment costings.
  • Quoting & tenders — Produce competitive quotations and submit proposals within required timeframes.
  • Scheduling — Coordinate project timelines, resource requirements and job information with internal teams.
  • Supplier & subcontractor pricing — Assess quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • AroFlo job management — Maintain up‑to‑date job data, purchase orders, cost tracking and project documentation.
  • Cost control — Monitor job costs, track gross profit margins and identify projects at risk of exceeding budget.
  • Process improvement — Enhance estimating templates, workflows and internal procedures.
  • Team coordination — Work closely with internal and offshore support teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
What You’ll Bring
  • Cert IV in Building & Construction (Estimating) or equivalent.
  • Experience in roofing or construction estimating.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • High numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet and estimating software.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience preparing purchase orders and monitoring project costs.
