Finance and Resources Manager

Harris Hill are delighted to be partnering with International Health Partners (IHP) in their search for a Finance and Resources Manager on a part-time (4 days per week), permanent basis. As Finance and Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial sustainability, administrative effectiveness and strong governance of the organisation.

Please note, due to the values of International Health Partners, there is an occupational requirement for the successful candidate to have a personal commitment to the Christian faith (exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1).

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day financial management of IHP, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls and high-quality budgeting and forecasting. The postholder will work closely with the Director of Finance & Resources, Senior Leadership Team and managers to provide financial insight and support effective decision-making.

IHP have a hybrid working policy, with 2 days per week required in their London office.

As Finance and Resources Manager, you will:
- Take ownership of financial operations of the organisation to ensure efficiency, accuracy and clarity
- Lead the preparation of financial forecasts and cash-flow projections and maintaining effective financial controls
- Provide the Director of Finance and Resources and Senior Leadership Team with high-quality financial information, analysis and insight to support planning, decision-making and performance monitoring
- Ensure that all the financial and charity governance regulatory requirements of statutory bodies are met - for IHP UK and its sister organisations in the US and Netherlands
- Oversee organisational office & asset management and procurement to ensure effective and efficient use of resources

The successful applicant will:
- Have experience in a financial management role within a small or medium-sized non-profit organisation
- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
- Have knowledge of charity accounting requirements, including SORP
- Have strong IT skills, particularly with accounting software and Excel
- Have experience of resource/IT management and procurement including insurance
- Have experience of governance adherence and working with boards or trustees
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
