• Integrates knowledge, skills, and clinical experience to meet the needs of high school students, their families, and the community
• Provides care for well, injured and ill students, which may include COVID-19 cases
• Utilizes standards and guidelines for care delivery
• Provides individualized patient education
• Serves as clinical resource

• RN license in VA or multi-state privilege (Required)
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)

• Coordinates care for students with outside medical professionals
• Drives student to off-campus medical care; acts as the student's advocate; serves as the liaison between the provider and the student/student's family
• Maintains student and camper confidential files and records
• Fulfills weekend on call duty hours as scheduled by the Director of Nursing
• Uses and adapts to a wide array of technology as tools to support the Health and Wellness Program; actively updates computer and software skills
• Provides courteous and appropriate communication with students, parents, faculty and staff
• Active and positive member of the broader school community, building relationships across departments and supporting the Residential Life program
