Project Engineer - Process

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Engineer - Process to join a high-performing project delivery team supporting the successful execution of large-scale resources and infrastructure projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through to construction and commissioning, while contributing to the delivery of critical process infrastructure packages.

About the Role Reporting to the Package Lead, you will play a key role in coordinating engineering, procurement and construction activities, ensuring project outcomes are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Perth based for the for first 6-9 months then will transition to 2:1 site based role.


Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the planning, procurement and construction of process infrastructure packages.
• Developing and managing scopes of work for process equipment and multidisciplinary construction works.
• Coordinating interfaces between contractors, suppliers, engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Managing procurement activities including tender evaluations, contract administration, progress claims and variations.
• Supporting site delivery and ensuring works are completed in accordance with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Reviewing engineering and design deliverables to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Assisting with the resolution of technical issues, design changes and construction challenges.
• Monitoring project progress, risks, milestones and reporting requirements.
• Contributing to Safety in Design processes, risk workshops and technical reviews.
• Supporting commissioning and project handover activities.

To be successful, you will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience delivering mining, resources, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Experience across project planning, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
• Strong understanding of process infrastructure such as crushing, conveying, materials handling or similar facilities.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project interfaces.
• Sound knowledge of construction quality requirements, inspections and compliance processes.
• Commercial acumen including procurement, contract administration and cost management.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment and manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel to site as required.
