Apply directA leading academic medical center is seeking a BC/BE Acute Care Surgeon to join a high-volume, expanding Acute Care Surgery program in Hartford, Connecticut, offering the opportunity to practice across trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery in a nationally recognized academic environment.
Position Highlights:
- Join a growing faculty of 14 Acute Care Surgeons
- Practice at an ACS Level I Trauma Center
- Comprehensive Acute Care Surgery scope:
- Trauma surgery
- Surgical critical care
- Emergency general surgery
- High-volume program with 2,600+ trauma patients annually
- 1,100+ surgical ICU admissions annually
- 1,500+ emergency general surgery cases annually
- LifeStar helicopter EMS support
- Robust Surgical Critical Care fellowship program with dedicated Acute Care Surgery training opportunities
- Extensive opportunities to teach general surgery residents, fellows, and medical students
