Material Handler

Nesco Resource is looking for a Material Handler located in Danbury, CT. This is a contract opportunity for the right candidate. Expected duration of assignment is 3-6 months with potential of lasting longer.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (Ability to work every other Saturday if needed)

Pay: $20-$24/hour depending on experience

Job Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring production teams have the materials they need to keep operations running smoothly.

• Move raw materials, components, and supplies to designated production areas in a timely manner.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels at workstations to prevent production delays.
• Perform cycle counts and update inventory information within the ERP system.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and organizing incoming and outgoing materials.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and material handling guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
