1) Injection Molding Machine Operator (Mold Operator II)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Mandatory Saturdays, 6–8 hours
Pay: $15/hour

Job Summary
The Injection Mold Process Technician is responsible for the full injection molding process—mold changeovers, setup, troubleshooting, operation, and basic maintenance of injection molding equipment (ARBURG experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform and direct mold and material changeovers
  • Ensure setup, changeover, and housekeeping standards are met
  • Confirm new job start-ups run correctly; make adjustments as needed
  • Partner with production to ensure molded parts meet requirements; adjust process as needed
  • Troubleshoot processing issues (normal checks and adjustments)
  • Set/verify machine and support system parameters to meet production goals
  • Review process parameters and implement changes to improve cycle times
  • Inspect parts to confirm they meet customer specifications
  • Stop production to correct quality issues
  • Inspect machines daily for maintenance concerns and report issues to Maintenance
  • Train/coach operators to ensure procedures are followed
  • Follow cleanup/housekeeping procedures
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and work rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned
