About the Role
This full-time, ongoing Religious Education Coordinator / Learning Leader position will commence in Term 1, 2027. The successful candidate will provide leadership across Religious Education while maintaining a classroom teaching load, with 300 minutes of release time provided for leadership responsibilities. The school can offer flexibility around the teaching component of the role, with the successful candidate able to teach Religious Education alongside another subject area that aligns with their strengths and experience.
Skills and Responsibilities

Provide curriculum and instructional leadership across Religious Education, supporting high-quality teaching, assessment and student outcomes.

Lead and support colleagues within Religious Education, encouraging collaboration, professional growth and consistent curriculum delivery.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive classroom practice.

Communicate effectively with students, families, colleagues and school leadership while contributing to the Catholic identity and broader priorities of the school.

Balance leadership responsibilities with classroom teaching across Religious Education and, where appropriate, an additional teaching method.
Requirements

Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

Relevant teaching qualifications and experience teaching Religious Education

Demonstrated capacity to provide curriculum and/or learning leadership

A second teaching method or subject area is welcomed

Full Australian working rights
