Design & Build are working with a bespoke residential builder who is on the hunt for an experienced Carpenter to join their team. You’ll be working across  renovations, extensions, heritage restorations, and architecturally designed homes throughout Melbourne’s inner eastern and northern suburbs. 

This is an opportunity to work across quality residential projects (typically valued up to $2m) from start to finish. If you’ve got a strong attention to detail and pride yourself on quality craftsmanship, this could be your ideal next step. You would be joining a social team, and a business who is dedicated to ensuring a good culture and support for it's employees. 

What the role will involve:
  • Hands-on carpentry with end-to-end project exposure
  • Supervising apprentices 
  • Ordering materials
  • Quality control across multiple jobs
  • Coordinating trades on-site
The ideal Candidate:
  • Carpentry Qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of residential Carpentry/Leading Hand experience
  • Experience in architecturally designed renovations, extensions, and/or heritage builds
  • Well set up – tools, reliable vehicle
  • Strong work ethic, takes pride in workmanship
  • Reliable and loyal
