The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Contract Administrator to take a key commercial role on a $50M+ co-living development close to Sydney CBD.
This is a substantial, design-led project offering exposure to complex construction, detailed finishes and a diverse range of trade packages. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership team, taking ownership of procurement and commercial performance.

This is a substantial, design-led project offering exposure to complex construction, detailed finishes and a diverse range of trade packages. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership team, taking ownership of procurement and commercial performance.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading procurement, tender assessments and letting of major subcontractor packages
- Preparing, negotiating and administering subcontract agreements
- Managing variations, progress claims, payment schedules and contractual correspondence
- Preparing cost reports, forecasts and monthly commercial reporting
- Identifying commercial risks and implementing strategies to protect project outcomes
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes to ensure contractual clarity
- Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve commercial matters
- Supporting junior commercial staff and contributing to strong project controls
- Managing final accounts and supporting project close-out
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 5–8+ years’ experience in Contract Administration within commercial or residential construction
- Proven experience on projects valued $30M+, ideally within multi-residential or mixed-use construction
- Strong understanding of procurement, contracts, cost control and commercial reporting
- Experience managing major trade packages and subcontractor negotiations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute, organised and confident taking ownership of project outcomes
- Up to $190,000 + Super depending on experience
