Our client is a leading food manufacturer, producing meals to many of the worlds' major Airlines.

Chandler Macleod is seeking experienced Chefs to join a dynamic team within a large catering facility in Tullamarine.
Our client is a leading food manufacturer, producing meals to many of the worlds' major Airlines.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing high‑volume, in‑flight meals for airline passengers while maintaining consistent quality standards in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen.
This is a casual position offering full‑time hours, with opportunities for permanent progression.
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM start
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM start
- Night Shift: 11PM start
- Prepare, cook, and assemble food in line with client and flight specifications, including dietary requirements.
- Follow written instructions/ recipes
- Repetitive lifting and manual handling up to 25kg
- Maintain and adhere to HACCP and OHS policies and standards.
- Work under tight time constraints to meet KPIs and scheduling changes
- Manage food production, including stock levels and quantities
- Conduct quality control checks throughout production
- Supervise and coordinate the work of Catering Assistants
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery
- Recent experience in a food manufacturing or high-volume kitchen environment
- Successfully complete a 2 hour trial onsite
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster.
- Availability for on-call shifts or overtime as required
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Full working rights and availability in Australia
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative
- A passion for food and customer satisfaction
