Our Team Assistants are the heartbeat of our firm. They play a critical role in supporting our Partners, Managers and Professional Accounting teams by providing high‑quality administrative and client service support that enables our teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.

About the Role

As a Team Assistant with Bentleys SA/NT, no two days are the same. This fast paced, highly confidential and varied role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional services environment as the trusted support to a busy team. Your day will include (but is not limited to):

Providing the highest level of service to both internal stakeholders and external clients

Onboarding new clients and ensuring a seamless and professional experience

Preparing client documents and correspondence

Collating client financial and tax information to support our professional team

Liaising directly with clients on behalf of accountants and advisors

Assisting with ASIC and ATO preparation and lodgements

Managing monthly reporting, invoicing and billing

Scheduling client appointments and coordinating team calendars

Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date client databases

Managing and prioritising emails, phone calls and correspondence on behalf of senior executives and the wider professional team

Coordinating travel, providing reception relief and supporting meeting room and AV setup

About you

You are a mature, proactive and service‑driven professional who takes pride in delivering high‑quality support. You enjoy working with people, building strong client relationships and helping a team operate at its best. You bring sound judgement, strong attention to detail and the confidence to communicate clearly, follow up and stay one step ahead of what the team needs.

You will thrive in this role if you:

Have previous experience in professional services (ideally accounting. Legal, financial services or similar professional services will also be highly regarded)

Are organised and great at managing competing priorities

Enjoy engaging directly with clients and building strong professional rapport

Are a thinker - someone who anticipates needs, solves problems, and takes initiative

Bring maturity and confidentiality to everything you do

Communicate confidently via phone, email and in person

Are tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new systems - some knowledge of accounting software, processes and procedures would be favourably considered

Work well with a team and genuinely want to make others shine

Take pride in delivering exceptional service and continuous improvement
