NOC Engineer

We’re looking for a NOC (Network Operations Centre) Engineer to join a network operations team supporting a critical data centre environment. This role sits at the centre of live operations - monitoring networks, responding to incidents, and ensuring services remain stable and available.
You won’t just be watching alerts. You’ll be trusted to investigate issues, own incidents through to resolution, and work closely with engineering teams to prevent repeat problems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and respond to real-time alerts
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents across routing, switching, and security layers
• Take ownership of incidents end-to-end, including escalation where required
• Perform network changes to support new services and ongoing improvements
• Liaise with vendors and carriers to resolve external issues
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support

Experience required

• Solid background in networking (routing & switching)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
• Exposure to firewalls, VPNs, and network security concepts
• Understanding of change and incident management processes

Work pattern
This role operates on standard business hours with participation in a shared on-call rotation one per month in order to support critical incidents outside hours.
