About the Role
Reporting into the People & Culture leadership team, you'll lead a high-performing Workplace Relations team while partnering with senior leaders across the organisation to manage complex employee relations matters and provide commercially sound workplace relations advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing Workplace Relations team.
- Managing complex employee relations matters and providing expert advice to leaders.
- Supporting organisational change initiatives and workforce projects.
- Coaching leaders to build confidence and capability in managing people matters.
- Managing employment risks and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Developing and improving workplace policies, processes and practices.
- Identifying trends and recommending proactive people solutions.
About You
- Extensive experience in Workplace or Employee Relations within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work.
- Proven experience leading complex workplace investigations and case management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Employment Relations, Law or a related discipline.
