Marketing Executive

Location: Basildon (with occasional travel between sites)

An established and growing technology services business is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Executive to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced environment, supporting brand awareness, lead generation and customer engagement activities.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, sales teams and external partners, you will play a key role in delivering marketing campaigns, creating engaging content and maintaining a strong and consistent brand presence across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage marketing content including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, videos, social media posts and website content.
• Update and maintain website pages, ensuring content remains accurate and engaging.
• Support email marketing campaigns and marketing automation activities.
• Manage CRM data and workflows.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of virtual and in-person events.
• Monitor campaign performance and produce reports on key metrics.
• Provide recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and campaign performance.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communications and marketing materials.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a marketing role such as Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Executive or Marketing Assistant.
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable Experience

• Experience using CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Ads or Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing campaigns.
• Experience creating video content.
• Understanding of paid and organic social media marketing.
• Experience within the technology, IT services or managed services sector would be advantageous.
