Production Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial plant equipment and systems.

  • Perform electrical, mechanical, fabrication, assembly, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.

  • Complete required preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records in the Maintenance Management/PM System.

  • Plan and lay out maintenance projects and help train personnel in safe and efficient equipment use.

  • Work safely and support safety, quality, and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 2-year post-secondary trade school education in industrial electricity and/or mechanics, or equivalent experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

  • Forklift operator license or ability to obtain one with training; strong problem-solving, communication, and basic computer skills required.

  • Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment, wear required PPE and a respirator, lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.

  • Must be able to travel between both New Castle facilities, approximately 1 mile apart.

  • Primary schedule is 3rd shift; must be available for overtime, extra shifts, and occasional coverage or projects on the other shift as needed.

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • Pay Rate is $24-$30 per hour

  • 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM (10-hour shifts)

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

  • Temp-To-Hire

  • Benefits after Probation period
