Customer Service Representative

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join its team. This position serves as an important connection between customers and internal operations, handling order entry, customer inquiries, order status updates, documentation, and support related to new and existing parts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable reading blueprints, working with detailed customer requirements, and managing multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process new customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, purchase orders, and order status

• Review blueprints and technical information related to customer parts and new-part quoting

• Assist with gathering information and preparing quotes for new parts

• Maintain accurate customer, order, and product documentation

• Prepare and manage required customer certifications and documentation

• Ensure required certifications and supporting paperwork accompany applicable shipments

• Prepare customer-specific labels and shipping documentation as needed

• Coordinate with shipping, production, and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met

• Assist with specialized shipping arrangements and customer accounts when necessary

• Maintain organized records and follow established company and quality procedures

• Perform additional customer service and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous customer service, order entry, or administrative experience within a manufacturing environment preferred

• Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings strongly preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable working with purchase orders, part numbers, specifications, and detailed documentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal departments

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities

• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a traditional manufacturing environment

• Basic computer and data-entry skills required

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time

• First Shift (7am – 5pm)  

• $45,000/yr Salaried Role  

• Temp to hire position  

• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
