- Managing litigation files from initial advice through to resolution
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence and other legal documents
- Advising clients on commercial disputes, contractual issues and risk management strategies
- Conducting legal research and providing practical, commercially focused advice
- Briefing and liaising with counsel
- Attending negotiations, mediations and court appearances
- Maintaining high standards of file management and professional compliance
About You
- Admission to practice in New South Wales with a current practising certificate
- 1-3 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation and/or commercial law
- Strong drafting and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
- Confidence working directly with clients, counsel, courts and other solicitors
- Experience using Smokeball is advantageous but not essential
