We are partnering with an established and highly regarded professional services organisation to recruit a commercially minded HR professional who is looking to take the next step in their career. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HRBP who has built strong foundations across the employee lifecycle and is now ready to broaden their remit, work closely with senior leadership and play a more influential role in shaping the people function.

About the Role
Sitting close to the leadership team, you’ll operate as a trusted HR partner while gradually taking on broader ownership and more senior responsibilities across the people function. While you’ll remain hands-on across core HR matters, you’ll also have the opportunity to move beyond traditional HRBP delivery and become involved in workforce planning, organisational design, talent, engagement, culture and broader people strategy.
Your responsibilities will include
- Partnering closely with senior leaders on people strategy, workforce planning and organisational design
- Providing trusted advice across employee relations, performance management, grievances and disciplinary matters
- Coaching leaders and managers to strengthen people capability and performance
- Leading performance, career development and talent processes, including succession planning
- Driving initiatives across employee engagement, retention, recognition and culture for a portfolio of 120 employees
- Supporting remuneration, salary review and bonus processes
- Identifying and coordinating learning and development initiatives
- Supporting leaders and employees through periods of organisational change
- Managing recruitment across the business and helping shape broader talent strategies
- Using people data and insights to support decisions around headcount, structure and workforce costs
- Ensuring HR policies and practices remain compliant with Australian employment legislation
- Partnering with shared-service HR support to ensure employee lifecycle administration is delivered effectively
- Taking ownership of broader HR projects and people initiatives as the needs of the business evolve.
