Manufacturing Associate / 1st shift

Nesco Resource is hiring a Manufacturing Associate / 1st shift for our Client in Conover, NC

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Manufacturing Associate to support our repair operations. This is an entry-level position focused on assisting with equipment repair, preparation, and shipping. The role involves a variety of tasks including bead blasting, painting, assisting with builds, and crate preparation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and wants to grow in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bead blasting and surface preparation on parts
• Assist with equipment builds and repair processes
• Paint components and finished equipment as needed
• Build crates and prepare equipment for shipment
• Use hand tools to support assembly and repair work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Support team members with general shop tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Experience using basic hand tools required
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Comfortable working in a shop/manufacturing environment
