Now hiring a Piper in Suwanee, GA. This full-time, temp-to-perm position offers a pay rate of $21 per hour with a variety of shifts, including Monday through Saturday. The schedule includes Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM, with mandatory overtime on Saturday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This role is ideal for experienced pipers seeking growth opportunities within a leading refrigeration equipment manufacturer. The position involves layout, fitting, and assembly of piping and tubing, reading mechanical drawings, using hand and power tools, and collaborating effectively with team members on a first shift basis.

About the Role:

• Layout, fit, and assemble piping and tubing for refrigeration systems
• Read and interpret mechanical and piping drawings, legends, and specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble piping with precision using hand and power tools
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively

Pay Rate:
$21.00 per hour

Available Shift Times:

• Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM
• Saturday (Mandatory OT): 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand mechanical and piping drawings
• Measure and cut piping according to specifications
• Utilize hand and power tools to assemble piping components
• Perform setups and form parts as per drawing instructions
• Communicate effectively within a team environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies

Key Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and legends
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Prior welding experience required
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Physical ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
