Apply directA leading nonprofit regional health system in Northeast Arkansas, just one hour from Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a BC/BE Cardiologist with fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology to join its growing Heart & Vascular team.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology position
- Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure required
- Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice
- Lead heart failure readmission reduction initiatives
- Guide inpatient management of advanced heart failure patients
- Participate in Heart Failure and SHOCK response teams
- Active involvement with the LVAD program and committee
- Conduct LVAD evaluations, workups, and longitudinal patient management
- Evaluate advanced heart failure patients and optimize medical therapies
- Provide oversight for APP-led outpatient CHF clinics
- Opportunity to participate in heart failure clinical research
- Collaborate with critical care teams in the management of complex cardiac patients
- Teaching opportunities available for interested candidates
Clinical Scope: (Based on experience & interest):
- Echocardiography interpretation
- Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET)
- Cardiac MRI interpretation
- Right and left heart catheterization procedures
- Advanced heart failure therapies and guideline-directed medical management
Practice Environment:
