Finance Director – FP&A & Business Partnering

• Lead FP&A for a major Japan healthcare business, covering P&L, balance sheet, forecasting, budgeting and scenario planning.
• Provide financial insights and performance analysis to senior commercial and functional leadership.
• Act as a strategic finance partner on growth opportunities, resource allocation, investment priorities and financial risks.
• Lead financial support for established brands and key corporate functions.
• Drive improvements in forecasting, reporting and closing processes through simplification and automation.
• Lead adoption of new finance systems and analytics capabilities.
• Ensure financial governance, internal controls, regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance organization and succession pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with regional and cross-functional finance teams.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, corporate finance or strategy.
• Bachelor's/MBA or relevant Finance qualification.
• Experience in a multinational or global business strongly preferred.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and business partnering capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems using structured analysis.
• Strong leadership, coaching and talent-development experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong project management and execution capabilities.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing environment.
• Experience with financial risk management, controls and compliance preferred.
