Position Summary

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate filament winding machines according to work instructions and production schedules.
* Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials, fibers, resins, and finished products.
* Prepare materials for production by measuring, cutting, labeling, and organizing materials.
* Monitor machine operations and report defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
* Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, routine cleaning, and minor troubleshooting.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
* Maintain accurate production and material handling records.
* Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
* Assist with other manufacturing and production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment preferred.
* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with machinery and production equipment.
* Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Work Environment

* Manufacturing and industrial setting.
* Regular exposure to machinery, production materials, and noise.
* May work in varying weather or temperature conditions depending on the work area.
* Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times as instructed.
* Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
