Join a well-established specialist contractor delivering pumping, dewatering and dredging solutions across major mining operations throughout Western Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Trades Assistant looking to gain experience with slurry pumps, dewatering systems, and wet-plant environments while working alongside experienced Pump Fitters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Telehandler operations where required
  • Assist Pump Fitters with slurry pump rebuilds and servicing activities
  • Support fault finding and reliability maintenance works
  • Assist with bearing, seal and pump component replacements
  • Work around dewatering systems, slurry transfer equipment and tailings ponds
  • Maintain safe work practices around wet-plant and exclusion zone environments
  • Follow shutdown, maintenance and site safety procedures
  • Support general mechanical maintenance and housekeeping activities
About You
  • Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, Mechanical TA or Maintenance Assistant
  • Mining, civil, dewatering, pumping or processing plant experience advantageous
  • Comfortable working in wet environments and around slurry systems
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Telehandler ticket is required
