Optomi, in partenership with a national leader in managed healthcare services, is currently hiring for a Data Engineer!

About the Position / Current Initiatives:
Support a risk-adjustment data validation and auditing initiative by ingesting source data from CMS, Optum, and CDAT into Snowflake and building the supporting ETL/data pipelines. The Data Engineer will help prepare and organize data for the Streamlit audit interface and Power BI dashboards. The work supports Phase 1 of the auditing application, with a January 25 go-live and additional enhancements planned for Phase 2 in June 2027.

About the Team Structure + Culture:
The team is approximately 15+ people, plus contractors. The Data Engineer will report directly to the hiring manager and work closely with the UI and Power BI developers, business partners, and coding analysts. The team is working on an aggressive timeline and needs someone who can take ownership of the data pipelines and move quickly.

Job Must Haves:

  • Strong Snowflake experience
  • Snowflake ETL/data pipeline experience
  • Experience ingesting and transforming source data
  • Strong data engineering background
  • Experience building and supporting data pipelines

Job Nice to Haves:

  • Python
  • Talend or IDMC Informatica
