Senior Tax Product Manager - Funds/ Superannuation

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Tax Product Manager to join a leading global financial services organisation. This senior role will be responsible for driving the strategy, governance and ongoing development of tax services supporting institutional investment clients across Australia. This role will have a strong client facing aspect making relationship management and strong communications skills essential. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Australian Tax Product strategy (complying with new capital gains tax reform).
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including operating model, governance, policies and service standards.
• Lead product governance, risk and control frameworks, ensuring services meet regulatory and client obligations.
• Monitor legislative and industry developments, translating regulatory change into product enhancements.
• Partner with Technology and Operations to deliver product initiatives from business case through to implementation and post-launch review.
• Work closely with Sales and Relationship Management to support client pitches, RFPs and solution design.
• Contribute to pricing strategy, commercial outcomes and product profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement through client feedback, operational metrics and service enhancements.

You will be an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in Australian Tax and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.
You'll bring:

• 10+ years' experience within custody, funds management or superannuation, with significant exposure to Australian tax.
• Previous experience in Product Management or client-facing product, implementation or solutions roles.
• Experience delivering regulatory or operational change across product, operations and technology teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across multiple business functions.
• A commercial mindset with experience balancing client outcomes, operational efficiency and risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex regulatory and operational challenges.
