ESG Analyst Stewardship Specialist

We're working on behalf of a global fund manager who is looking for a technical, data/AI-savvy professional who's just as comfortable talking to investors as they are writing code. This is an extremely exciting, rare hybrid role blending hands-on company engagement with quantitative research and AI-driven tooling — ideal for someone who wants to work at the intersection of markets, data, and technology.
What you'll be doing:

• Engaging directly with investee companies and translating those conversations into research insights
• Using Python and AI tools to build datasets, signals, and stewardship analytics
• Producing reporting and case studies for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborating with portfolio managers and researchers across a global team

What we're after:

• 1–2 years' buy-side or sell-side experience
• Strong Python/SQL skills and comfort with large datasets
• Familiarity with generative AI tools
• Sharp communication skills — able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
• Curious, entrepreneurial, and keen to keep learning (a relevant professional qualification is a plus)
