Service Manager

Farmer Autovillage is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead its busy multi-brand service department in Mount Maunganui.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established automotive Service Manager to oversee a substantial service operation representing six leading automotive brands: Audi, Volkswagen, Škoda, CUPRA, Geely and Zeekr.

You'll be joining a respected, family-owned dealership group, leading an experienced team and driving workshop performance, customer satisfaction and departmental profitability.

The Role

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Service Advisors and Automotive Technicians
  • Oversee daily service operations, workshop scheduling and workflow management
  • Drive departmental KPIs, technician productivity, efficiency and profitability
  • Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve escalated customer concerns
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, warranty processes and health and safety standards

About You

  • Proven Service Management experience within an automotive service centre is essential
  • Experience managing multiple franchises or European automotive brands would be advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of workshop operations, technician productivity and departmental profitability
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
  • Commercially focused, proactive and confident managing a busy service operation
  • Experience with Autoline DMS would be beneficial but is not essential
