This role serves as the architect of the Company’s risk management ecosystem, ensuring that IFRS 9 ECL, application scoring, behavioral scoring, portfolio analytics, and reporting frameworks remain forward-looking, resilient, and aligned with business strategy, regulatory expectations, and group-level direction
The Team Head is responsible for conceptualizing new ideas, testing them, and cascading proven frameworks to senior managers for operational execution—thereby transforming innovation into scalable, sustainable practices
A. Strategic Leadership & Vision Setting
• Define the long-term roadmap for credit risk management, covering IFRS 9 / ECL, Application Scoring, Behavioral Scoring, Portfolio Intelligence, and Risk Reporting
• Continuously scan global best practices, fintech trends, and regulatory developments
• Introduce innovative methodologies, frameworks, and tools to the organization
• Translate abstract ideas into implementable systems
B. Oversight of IFRS 9, ECL & Risk Components
• Set overall direction for:
o ECL methodology
o Staging frameworks
o SICR logic
o Risk components (PD, LGD, CCF, Forward-Looking)
• Review and approve major methodological changes
• Ensure compliance with BOT, IFRS, and group standards
• Guide automation strategy for ECL and provisioning processes
• Act as the final escalation point for ECL governance matters
C. Oversight of Application Scoring & Risk Frameworks
• Define acquisition risk strategy and model governance principles
• Approve AS model redevelopment, recalibration, and major variable changes
• Design enterprise-level risk contingency frameworks
• Ensure scoring logic remains aligned with evolving customer behavior and business objectives.
• Guide liquidity risk monitoring direction
D. Oversight of Behavioral Scoring, Analytics & Reporting
• Define the overall architecture of behavioral risk intelligence
• Oversee BS model redevelopment and segmentation logic
• Approve enterprise-level reporting structures
