Part-Time Office Administrator/Bookkeeper

Location: Listowel, Co. Kerry
Hours: 20–30 hours per week (flexible)
Rate per hour: €16 - €18 per hour

Our client, a well-established company in the Building and Engineering industry, is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join their team in Listowel, Co. Kerry. This is a flexible part-time position, ideal for an experienced administrator with strong bookkeeping skills and, ideally, previous experience within the construction or engineering sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage company email correspondence.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices.
  • Prepare VAT returns and submit documentation through ROS.
  • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
  • Track labour and supplier costs using Microsoft Excel.
  • Process weekly/monthly payroll.
  • Support the day-to-day administrative functions of the office.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an office administration and bookkeeping role.
  • Experience within the construction, building, or engineering industry is desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience preparing VAT returns and using ROS.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

Potential for hybrid/remote working following a successful probationary period.
