An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Factory Manager to take full operational responsibility for a busy manufacturing facility in Co. Meath. This is a senior leadership role suited to a driven and commercially focused manufacturing professional with a passion for operational excellence, continuous improvement, people development, and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will oversee all site operations, including Production, Warehousing, Maintenance, Quality, Technical Processing, and Health & Safety, ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
The Role;
Reporting to the Operations & Engineering Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across all operational functions.
- Drive operational performance, productivity, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Promote and embed a strong Health & Safety culture across the site.
- Manage and improve key operational KPIs, including production output, quality, costs, and OEE.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
- Lead CAPEX projects and support investment in new technologies and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites on strategic business initiatives.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture that supports employee engagement and development.
About You;
You will have:
- A degree qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline (Level 7/8).
- At least 8 years' experience in a senior manufacturing management role.
- A proven track record of delivering operational KPIs and Health & Safety objectives.
- Strong experience leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programmes.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with SAP experience desirable.
