Returns Clerk

Nesco Resource has openings in the Elizabethtown area for a Returns Clerk Associate.
1st shift - Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm
Job Summary:
Hardec's Wholesale is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Returns Clerk to join our team. The Returns Clerk will be responsible for processing customer returns efficiently and accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction and inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and inspect returned merchandise for damages or defects.
2. Verify returned items against original purchase records or receipts.
3. Process returns in accordance with company policies and procedures.
4. Determine appropriate disposition of returned merchandise (e.g., restocking, hold, disposal).
5. Update inventory records to reflect returned items and reasons for return.
6. Communicate with customers regarding return status and resolution.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and warehouse, to facilitate returns process.
8. Maintain a clean and organized returns processing area.
9. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Bending, stooping, and reaching.
