Warehouse Leading Hand | Steel and Valving | Darwin, NT

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand for our client, an established industrial materials supplier based in Berrimah, NT.

This role would suit a trade-qualified candidate, ideally with a fabrication background, looking to step off the tools and into a leadership position within a warehouse environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day warehouse and yard operations
• Supervise and coordinate a team of 4 direct staff
• Oversee the loading, unloading and organisation of materials
• Manage stock control and inventory
• Coordinate labour to ensure orders and loads are completed efficiently
• Coordinate the movement and storage of materials throughout the site
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to track and coordinate deliveries
• Implement and maintain strict safety procedures
• Assist with transport and logistics coordination

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Trade background highly regarded, with a fabrication background preferred
• Strong knowledge of industrial materials, including valves, flanges and steel
• Previous warehouse, yard or supervisory experience
• Experience with stock control and logistics
• LF Forklift Licence highly regarded, or willingness to obtain
• Strong safety awareness and leadership skills
• Ability to coordinate a small team and maintain an efficient workflow

What’s on Offer:

• $100,000 – $120,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)
• Company vehicle + work phone
• Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Permanent, full-time opportunity
