Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide hands-on physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position works closely with patients to improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility activities, strengthening, stretching, and aquatic therapy

  • Monitor patient progress and response to treatment

  • Document treatments and progress

  • Educate patients on home exercise plans

  • Work closely with the Physical Therapist to support individualized treatment plans

  • Assist with additional office needs, including answering phones, as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current PTA license required

  • 1–2 years of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome

  • Required background clearances

  • Friendly, outgoing, patient, and positive attitude

  • Flexible and willing to assist where needed

  • Must be comfortable working around an indoor pool/bromine exposure

Benefits/Compensation

  • Pay: $20/hour

  • Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch

  • Opportunity for full-time hours as patient volume increases

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
