Laminating / C Crew

Nesco Resource is hiring for a Laminating position for our local Client in Hickory, NC

Pay: $17.00
Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 2/2/3 rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Setup, start up, and run hot or cold seal laminators and coating equipment efficiently with minimal downtime. [ 1 , 2 ]
• Material Preparation: Pull, load, and thread raw substrate rolls, films, and adhesives correctly into the machine line. [ 1 ]
• Quality Control: Monitor bonding strength, thickness, alignment, and edge guides during production runs; take samples for laboratory testing. [ 1 , 2 ]
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform basic adjustments, minor repairs, and routine housekeeping on the equipment to maintain safety and flow. [ 1 , 2 ]
• Documentation: Fill out production logs, work orders, and non-conforming material logs accurately. [ 1 , 2 ]

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial machine operating environment.
• Math & Measurement: Proficient in basic math (fractions, decimals, ratios, and unit conversions like mm/inch) and able to read precise measurement tools.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long 12-hour shifts, bend, reach, stretch, and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ]
