Security Specialist – Operations | Brisbane

We’re seeking a Security Specialist – Operations to join a high-performing Information Security team within a large and complex organisation.

This is a hands-on role focused on security monitoring, incident detection and response, and maintaining security controls.

Key skills:

• Security Operations / SOC experience
• Microsoft Defender and SIEM – Splunk and/or Sentinel
• Cloud and network security
• EDR/XDR, firewalls and IDS/IPS
• IAM, PAM and vulnerability management
• Threat hunting and security incident response
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001 and NIST
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call support when rostered

You’ll be responsible for monitoring and investigating security events, supporting incident response, identifying security control improvements and contributing to the ongoing uplift of security operations.
