Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting site operations by ensuring equipment, facilities, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. The role involves preventative and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, continuous improvement activities, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Working as part of a skilled team, the successful candidate will contribute to maximising uptime and operational performance across the site.

They operate a large, modern production facility and are committed to investing in their people, equipment, and processes to drive continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on site equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Perform inspections, testing, calibration, and servicing activities as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions following breakdowns or recurring faults.
- Support installation, upgrade, and improvement projects as required.
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience working with equipment incorporating pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, or process control systems.
- Previous maintenance experience within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Flexible to work on shift teams are currently on three weeks of days followed by three weeks of evenings.
