As a trusted advisor and leader, you will provide Line 1 oversight of Technology and Cyber Risk, ensuring effective risk identification, control assurance, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Central PMO, to embed risk practices across cutting-edge initiatives involving Cloud, AI, Robotics, Product Change and other enterprise projects. This is a 12 months max term contract position.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead Line 1 oversight of Technology & Risk, including, risk identification and assessment , control assurance, testing and incident and issue management.
-Act as the primary risk advisor to the Central PMO on IT and Cyber initiatives.
-Develop and implement risk “playbooks” for emerging technologies and transformation programs.
-Oversee supplier risk, including security, architecture, disaster recovery and privacy assessments.
-Drive risk management across BAU and change programs, delivered risk, change risk reviews and risk acceptance processes.
-Monitor IT outsourcing risk and coordinate divisional attestations.
-Read, interpret, challenge and present assurance reports, to identify early failures and closing gaps in the risk framework.
Key Requirements
-Proven experience in Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, or IT Risk Management within a regulated environment.
-Proven track record of working in in Line 1, Technology Risk.
-Strong knowledge of APRA standards (CPS 230, CPS 234) and cloud governance frameworks.
-Demonstrated communication skills with advance report writing and presentation skills.
