Key Accountabilities
- Assess risk and provide quality quotations for all channels. Support sales channel to negotiate. Meet brokers and clients to explain quotation in some case
- Evaluate pricing for group quotation including reporting
- Underwrite new and renew business cases and approve cases within assigned authority according to the underwriting standard
- Determine pricing, coverages including customizing term to match with customers requirement by using technical pricing
- Estimating and calculating claim projection to provide accurate premium in order to make sure about sustainable profitability portfolio
- Provide Health analysis data including portfolio management
- Oversee and direct submissions for review beyond delegated underwriting authority
- Collaboration with Sale, Actuarial and Claim team to meet customer Terms of Reference
- Ensure all business is underwritten within established Internal Audit Guidelines
Qualification
- Bachelor or higher degree in insurance or related fields (Actuarial, Statistic)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Group Health Underwriting (EB)
- Microsoft Excel expertise is required
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience in leading teams, promoting teamwork, and solving problems
- Solid proficiency of underwriting and insurance industry theories and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Thai is a must
