Responsibilities of the Litigation & Regulatory Associate:
- Handling a diverse portfolio of construction matters alongside a dedicated group of legal professionals
- Balancing dispute resolution, including arbitration and civil litigation, with drafting and negotiating agreements for new development projects
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members
- Engaging in internal and external knowledge sharing, such as writing articles, hosting legal updates, and participating in industry networks
- Playing an active part in business development, managing client relationships, and helping to expand the firm's footprint in the dispute resolution space
Candidate Profile:
- A completed university degree in Dutch law
- 4-9 years of experience as an Advocaat, with a clear focus on construction law and litigation, while prior exposure to arbitration proceedings is highly advantageous
- A strong passion for the legal profession, coupled with a resilient and eager-to-learn attitude
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive and inquisitive approach
- A genuine interest in the technical elements of building and infrastructure projects
- A desire to grow within a globally integrated network and work alongside international peers
- Outstanding communication skills in both Dutch and English
