Tractor Operator (Parks)

We are currently seeking an experienced Turf Maintenance Operator to join a local council team based around the Melville area. This position involves maintaining parks, reserves, and sporting grounds to a high standard while working within a supportive council environment.

Duties Include:

• Operating tractors, trailed mowers, and turf maintenance equipment

• Broad acre mowing of parks, reserves, and sporting fields

• Assisting with turf renovation and general turf maintenance

• Conducting daily plant checks and reporting maintenance issues

• Working safely within council parks and gardens operations

Requirements:

• Current MR Driver’s Licence

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience operating tractors in a turf maintenance environment

• Experience operating tractor trailed mowers, three-point linkage plant, and horticultural equipment

• Knowledge of broad acre mowing and turf renovation practices

• Certificate II in Horticulture, Turf Management or equivalent

• National Police Check

• 2 contactable work references

• Can pass a drug and alcohol test

• Reliable work ethic and ability to work within a team environment
